Serenata recording by Grimethorpe and Jack Stamp featured again on BBC Radio 3's Sunday breakfast show
Thrilled that Serenata has been broadcast again today on Radio 3's 'Boost your morning with classical music' Breakfast show this morning with Mark Forrest, the third broadcast in three years. Recorded by Grimethorpe Band and conducted by Jack Stamp, Serenata was originally written in memory of Yvonne Hamblin from Lydbrook Band. It remains my most performed work with performances around the world including the USA, Japan, Poland and Sweden, as well as in the UK by bands such as Grimethorpe, Foden's, Flowers, Brighouse and Rastrick, Faireys and of course the band it was written for, Lydbrook Band. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002mcn3 at 1.54
