Serenata, recorded by Grimethorpe Colliery Band and conducted by Jack Stamp on the album Postcards from Grimethorpe, broadcast on BBC Radio 3 Classical music to start the day with Petroc Trelawney.
I was thrilled to find out that Serenata was broadcast on Radio 3 today on Petroc Trelawney's Classical music to start the day programme. Recorded on Toccata Classics last year, the album Postcards from Grimethorpe also features another piece of mine called Beyond the Light and was conducted by my good friend and colleague Jack Stamp. It's available from:

Serenata was originally written in memory of Yvonne Hamblin from Lydbrook Band, a well-loved lady of banding who was associated with Lydbrook for over 60 years.
