Family ensemble Corde di Gioia will premiere excerpts for Liz's newly written song cycle Brightest Day a Cloud at a charity concert, Classics for Peace, as part of the Haderslev Festival on 2 May 2018. Corde di Gioia, a family trio of Maria and two daughters Anna and Guily, perform on a variety of instruments and voice, and the music was written especially for their diverse ensemble. They will be giving all proceeds to Médecins sans Frontières.
The world premiere of the complete song cycle will take place at a lunchtime recital in the Holborne Museum, Bath, on 18 September 2018.

Some of the best brass musicians in the world, at the peak of their powers, each presenting a programme of contemporary and traditional repertoire, along with major solo works, effortlessly linked by the inimitable Frank Renton.
Each band will be encouraged to present themselves in their best possible light, playing to their strengths and free of the stresses and strains of contesting.

Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Brass Band: 10:30-11:15
Willebroek: 12:00-13:15
Black Dyke Band: 14:00-15:15pm
David Childs Solo Recital: 16:00-16:45
Flowers Band: 17:30-18:45
Foden's Band: 19:30-20:45

Step back in time for our Tudor Players Day at Berkeley Castle. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the past as live music and traditional Tudor dancing fill the Great Hall. With costumed performers and a lively, immersive atmosphere, it’s a wonderful way to experience the grandeur of the Castle as it might have been in the 1500s.
