Liz worked as Composer and Project Manager with two Chepstow schools in Autumn 2016 to celebrate 50 years since the last journey of the Severn Princess, and the opening of the Bryn Glas Tunnel and Severn Bridge. Films were created by sixth form media students from Chepstow School and then set to music by sixth form composition students; Thornwell Primary School created two songs with lyricist David Lewis. The project culminated in a sharing event at Chepstow School, with showings of the films and compositions, and performances of the songs, all accompanied by musicians from Sinfonia Cymru.
The Thornwell School songs are now available to download from the Sinfonia Cymru website.
