'Landscapes' and 'Shadow cast by the sun' from 'Rhythm of Light', recorded by Hepworth Band and conducted by Ryan Watkins, will be broadcast on Radio 3 Sunday 29 June. 'Rhythm of Light' was commissioned in 2021 to celebrate the life and work of sculptor Barbara Hepworth.

'Rhythm of Light' was recorded and performed in 2021 by Hepworth Band, conducted by Ryan Watkins and has since been widely performed. It featured twice in the Barbara Hepworth Life and Work tour, with the Hepworth recording on TikTok for the National Galleries of Scotland, and live at Towner Eastbourne with South Coast Brass conducted by Linda Harvey in 2023. In 2024 it was used as a test piece for the Brass Band Conductors' Association Conducting Competition. and performed by Regent Brass, conductor Alan Duguid, at the Scottish Challenge in Perth.
