Unibrass, Saxhorn Festival and British Bandsman

A busy start to the year....

A busy start to the year...! Two performances took place on 2 February - Manchester University Brass Band conducted by Hugh Morris performed Diamond Fanfare at Unibrass and a new arrangement of Song from Silver Rose was premiered by over 50 massed tenor horns and baritone horns at the 2019 Saxhorn Fest, and by the festival quartet of Helen Varley, Nat Martin, Katrina Marcela and Mike Cavanagh in the evening.

Liz has also taken on a new role with British Bandsman magazine as a regular contributor, including a monthly blog called Composers' Corner and to date reviews from the RNCM Brass Band Festival and the European Brass Band Festival 2019.
