Liz recently wrote Serenata (downloadable score and parts with donation to the British Heart Foundation) as a tribute to Yvonne Hamblin, 2nd cornet with Lydbrook Band [1944-2019]. The music is a celebration of the life of a special lady with a warm heart who had been associated with the band for over 60 years. Liz wanted her memory to live on with the music; the score and parts are offered with the blessing of her family, best friend and Lydbrook Band. It is a slow waltz, can be played by most levels of brass bands, and includes some flexible instrumentation. A trombone quartet arrangement has already been requested and arranged; the music will also be arranged for fanfare orchestra.
