Cory Band and Tom Hutchinson (cornet), conducted by Philip Harper, recently rehearsed Liz's Slate, Sea and Sky during a very hot summer's evening at their regular rehearsal room, the Park Hall, Treorchy, Wales. Prior to the rehearsal, Liz chatted to the band and explained the concept behind the title and music. A video of the rehearsal will shortly be available.
Slate, Sea and Sky was originally written in 2016 and recorded by Jim Hayes with the Scottish Co-Op Funeralcare Band, conductor Michael Fowles. The CD can be ordered on Amazon.
